Every morning in Frankfurt, Germany, you might catch a glimpse of Jenny, a horse who goes on a long walk every morning, all by herself. She has been taking the same route every morning for 14 years, ever since her owner, now 79 years old, became unable to ride. She enjoys greeting all of the familiar faces along the way, and she stops and gets treats and pettings from some of her favorite humans. The locals treat her like a celebrity and happily clean up after her. A piece of paper is attached to her halter that reads, “My name is Jenny. I didn’t run away, I’m just walking. Thank you.” But the police get calls frequently from people who don’t know about the arrangement. They are very familiar with the horse and the owner, and there have been no incidents in 14 years. A local veterinarian gives her routine checkups and continues to find her to be healthy and showing no anxiety about her unique lifestyle.

Book Review of “Happily ever After” by Debbie Tung

I have read Debbie’s book called ‘Quiet girl in a noisy world’ and her views deeply reflect on the pictorial illustrations. And she knows what to offer to the catered audience and I think she has done her job perfectly well. The nuance of a couple’s life is depicted beautifully on this book. Starting from proposing to marital status is toasted with extreme care and precision. I admire the humor elements discussed in here and could relate myself at many places. I loved it to the core and feel satisfied.
Book Review of “Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day” by Winifred Watson

I chanced upon this book from the Reddit App book groups, but never bothered to check it’s published timeline until now. It is highly commendable to foresee the life of a nightclub singer during that period (1935), from juggling between 3 different lover’s throughput a governess who is flipped into poverty whereby carries a better judgement on the opposite sexuality and acumen of life. What happens when these two character meets is the crux of this story line. The flirting of Tony and Pettigrew tickles the bones unlike the intimidating nature of nick which causes annoyance. I believe it is petty to miss such a satisfying cocktail experience. Simply go for it and cherish its hilarious moments.
Review of “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles

I am deeply enthralled with this story events and protagonist sets an amazing example of essence, morale, audacity to me. Alexander the count is house-arrested and left confined within the Metropol hotel perimeters. The lonesome walks of life with a social ennui is captivated by the infirm at large. It leaves a permanent scar of reading a spellbinding book and will provoke to poke into the author’s prior contributions. This statement left me astonished by the profound meaning inside – “What sort of divinity, he seemed to be thinking, would devise a world in which an aging man’s malady afflicts the very attribute that has set him apart from his fellow men and elevated him in the eyes of all? What sort of divinity, Emily? The very same who rendered Beethoven deaf and Monet blind. For what the lord giveth, is precisely what he come through later to taketh away.”. Truly enacted like a gentleman!
