Endowed with calmness,
the ‘is-ness’ sucks to contemplate,
of its discriminatory wisdom,
like droplets in the water,
flows through maze of illusions,
their existence is easily trapped,
but operates and remains part of the genesis,
protruding now and then to follow,
under the warp of misnomers,
hide and seek is played with a burning desire,
masking the true purpose of human life,
until the ignorance is removed,
with self knowledge of ignited ‘I’,
that is when this loop of life gets dissolved.

silences lead the way,
orifice of internal passage,
endures the deep thoughts,
inspires you to crawl and learn,
until dug into the infinite path,
ahead find the vision of effervescent,
negate illusion on the line,
choose the imperial ones,
which reveals by its own god particle “I” the illuminated awareness.

Wasp buildup on the heart,
Whence the light is blindfolded,
No amount of oscillation is directed,
With a dark and unknown track,
Wonders are anticipated to pledge,
Now, burn the candlelight of the soul by its friction matchsticks which sparks the life of a misfortune.

Book Review of “The Asvamedha – The Rite and its Logic” by Subhash Kak

The potential of Ashwamedha sacrifice and its iconic ritual associated with the process are discussed in this book. Little background on the author, Subhash Kak works as a professor at Louisiana State University and exponent of Vedic philosophy. Well, here the rites are represented as a symbolic form rather than vague descriptions. Its connection between the transcendence of the sun and the king entwined by the lord’s source of energy. This further adds up the spiritual cause that stands apart in the ladder of consensus. Either way the scriptural connoisseur may find the reference solid and deviant according to their inquiry. But the explanation of the building of an altar and astronomical relations displays the amount of research done by the author and is highly laudable. From the setting of bricks on the altar to diagrams of sacrificial placement are finely depicted in this book. However, I do not wish to concise, every detail, as it will lose the charm of the book, but I can assure you that will keep you insightful. Not many have written about this unique Ashwamedha Yagna (A ritual sacrifice) but admirable for the author to have invested time to articulate the facts and deserves diligence for his valuable inputs. I truly appreciate and highly recommend this book.
Review of “Living with the Himalayan Masters” by Swami Rama

I have come across this book on several occasions in the book shop’s but my interest was laid aside at that time. And here am trying to brood over missing such a rare commodity earlier. This runs as an upliftment memoir of an ascetic code of conduct, existence and its pursuance. From microcosmic to the macro level of spirituality is explained in the layman language. I find Swami Rama’s point of views pensively accompanied by his true quest for wisdom.
